As the days begin to shorten and the evenings start to draw in, thoughts turn to one of the most valuable seasonal fisheries around our shores ā€” squid.

Squid fishing has become increasingly popular with small commercial boats throughout the UK and Ireland, and itā€™s easy to see why:

We have just received a new delivery of Redline.

This braid is purpose made for use with K-type dive boards and is also ideal for all types of hand line fishing. Redline has a tightly braided outer layer with a resin coating formed around a central Dyneema core, making it a stiff line with low stretch and no memory. This means it is very easy to handle compared to other lines.

Redline is 1.8mm x 320 lb / 145kg and is supplied in 100m coils with plain cut ends, 50m hand line lengths with stainless clip swivel and crimped end or as a ready made handline including the wooden holder.
