Wolves in London plants in a box freshly launched!

https://wolvesinlondon.com

I had a great idea in the very first lockdown to put together some boxes of plants that I could deliver to doorsteps. Because what could be nicer if you’re stuck at home than the doorbell ringing and a box of plants sitting there for you…

It’s taken a bit longer than I had hoped (I mean, what doesn’t?!) but I’m finally ready with a trial period and four different boxes for you.

Each box has five plants inside. Plants that I love and grow in my own home (and which you’ve probably seen on my Insta account if you’ve been following me for a while), plants that look great with each other (and equally great on their own!) and – crucially – plants which are easy to look after.

I’ll be delivering the box to your door, so for now it’s only deliveries to East Dulwich and surrounding areas* or you can come and collect from me.

There are a range of different boxes available, priced at £25, £55 or £105 (the one in the photo costs £55)...

You’ll get a care guide for each of the plants in the box, so you know how to look after them. Prices include delivery.

Head to the link to read more or order!

*Delivery area: roughly a mile or two from East Dulwich, so Peckham, Nunhead, Forest Hill, Herne Hill, all the other Dulwiches.

One of the strongest trends we’ve noticed in the last year has been an interest in children’s books about accomplished women – we literally can’t keep them on our shelves!

Bit of a dreary, rainy day here. A good day to look at photos of cute babies in cuddly knits, right?! Over on the blog:

The impending pitter patter of baby feet inevitably sends me straight for my knitting needles. True to form, in late pregnancy, I started on a baby blanket for the littlest. But, in rather typical …

Pretty awesome story about a self-sufficient family (but the lazy part of me does rather balk at how much work it would be...)

(diycozyhome.com) Ever thought of growing your own food but didn’t think it was possible? It’s more that possible! It might even be the way of the future. If the Dervaes family can do it while living in Los Angeles, I think you can to. The Dervaes family live on 1/10th of an acre 15 minutes…

Hello, poor neglected blog! I’ve thought of you a lot over these past few months and yet never found the time / energy to pop in and say hi… Late pregnancy this time round has been a to…

So today we're moving house, which is a bit grim, but last week we were glamping in the Cotswolds. It's so dratted pretty there!

https://wolvesinlondon.com/2016/08/25/camping-in-the-cotswolds/

In something of a head-in-the-sand moment, we had a short break last week in the Cotswolds. A bit of time to unwind on a glorious glampsite (that’s a word, now, right?), admire the sunsets, w…

Contemporary garden design at the docklands: my visit to the Thames Barrier Park

https://wolvesinlondon.com/2016/08/11/peak-bloom-at-thames-barrier-park/

Thames Barrier Park is one of those slightly random places in London that I tend to read about and never visit. Built in 2001, next to, you guessed it, the Thames Barrier, it’s a really cutti…

This week's Five on Friday: birthday parties and bug cakes, house moves and rental horrors...

https://wolvesinlondon.com/2016/08/05/five-on-friday-6/

Well what a week! The big news is that we did get our mortgage valuation approved last week, so we’re (theoretically) good to buy our new house. Hurrahs all round. On a slightly less exciting…
