Its NOT Fudge Tablet is a medium/hard sugary treat, traditionally produced in Scotland. Tablet is usually harder than fudge but softer than hard candy.

It was first made back in the 18th Century, where it was originally made using just sugar and cream. Over the years, the recipe has been modified and the cream has been replaced with butter and condensed milk, due to cream having a tendency to burn when boiled.Tablet is different from fudge, in that it has a brittle, more grainy texture to it, while fudge tends to be softer and smoother in consistency.
