We’re Turning our Whole Town into a Bookshop! A pro-town, pro-local event to turn the whole of Great Dunow into a bookshop for one day. We’re doing this to promote local authors, local shops and establish Dunmow as the first Essex Book Town. Part of the Essex Book Festival 2026.

📚✨ GREAT DUNMOW BOOK FEST – TOMORROW! ✨📚

Tomorrow, Saturday 13th June, Great Dunmow will become the first Essex Book Town as the town hosts the inaugural Great Dunmow Book Fest!

We are delighted to be taking part and hosting local author John Dann here at Roberts Homewares. Books are available to purchase in store. John Dann will be at The Maltings, Mill Lane.
