We seem to have accidentally ended up with a Rivington/Vault City tap takeover this week, but here's what's on if you're coming down today and tomorrow. For now at least, two of these are about to go as well........

• Exterior Illumination 6% DDH IPA (New on)

• Hear The Bang 5.5% DDH pale ale

• New York Cheesecake 5.3% berry and rhubarb cheesecake smoothie sour (New on)

• From Dusk Till Dawn 8% DIPA (Fresh on this morning)

• Quadruple Scoop 11% Mint Choc Chip ice cream imperial stout (Literally two or three thirds left in this)

And of course hunners of cans and bottles

It's the latest three releases from Holy Goat to get us going this morning, with a fourth bonus beer from a bit further back that I know some of you are going to be very glad is in the fridges!

• Honeyfang 8% mixed fermentation golden sour with honey berries.

• Double Damnation 8.2% DIPA with citra, strata and superdelic

• Blæck Blastie 10.2% Imperial stout with El Salvador coffee

• Skullflower 6.4% mixed fermentation golden sour with elderflower

It's Saturday so you know the deal by now, we'll be open from 11am to 6pm with the tap room open from 12.

Time for your bi-weekly drop from the guys at Vault City Brewing, and this week they try to outdo themselves on the silliness scale more than once. I imagine their production meetings going something like one person saying "This beer is the most ridiculous!" only for someone else to shout "NO, **** YOU, THIS BEER IS THE MOST RIDICULOUS!". 😄

• Gloop 5% Strawberries & cookies & cream, cream sour. Remember the ridiculously stupid Gloop stout? Well here is its cream sour cousin. And yes, it's FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS ON THE CAN time again.

• Stoopid Spaceshake 5.5% Peach, mango, banana, coconut and vanilla ice cream smoothie sour. Never was there a more aptly named run of beers than these.

• Table Sour 3% with peach and lemon. The most sensible can of the week.

• Turbo Shandy 4.5% Lager and lemon. Yes, you read that right. A lager shandy. From Vault City. This has Joe's sticky little fingers all over it, has to! In many ways more stupid than Stoopid.

All good to go today from 12-7pm.

This week has been a classic "nightmare with wholesalers and deliveries" kind of week already, and we haven't even opened yet! A big chunk of this weeks new beers now won't reach us until next week, but fear not, there are still plenty of exciting new things in the fridges.

Going to start today with some big hitter US import imperial stouts. Not going to lie, these are in due to me wanting some for myself as I've had some fantastic beers from these two breweries in the past.

Bottle Logic Brewing (Anaheim, California)

• Darkstar November (2025) 14.2% Bourbon barrel aged imperial stout with rye and molasses.

Transient Artisanal Ales (Bridgman, Michigan)

• Kentuckley 14.5% Imperial breakfast stout aged in Buffalo Trace and Four Roses bourbon barrels.

• Buckley Reserve #1 15.5% Imperial stout with Tugboat coffee, vanilla and maple syrup aged in a whiskey foeder for two years then Henry Mckenna barrels for 2 to 3 years.

• Bring The Ruckley 14.5% Imperial stout aged for ten months in Gary Skies maple syrup breakfast rye barrels.

If I'm not in tomorrow and a bunch of these have gone missing out the shop you'll know why. 😂

Evening folks.

I’ve been getting asked quite a bit recently when the tickets will go on sale for the next Dunfermline Big Swally, because you clearly have no patience for getting them secured! 😂

We’re going to get Octobers Edinburgh Big Swally out of the way first, THEN we’ll put the Dunf tickets on sale mid/late November once you’ve all had the chance to recover.

I’m going to give you a heads up now that after the next Dunfermline Swally I’m going to take a break from putting the festivals on for a bit due to some other stuff we have going on, so make the most of this one when it comes!
