It is with huge relief and genuine joy that I can officially announce....
📢 we have been saved from store closure! 🎉

The news is just as unexpected as the shock we felt four weeks ago, but this time it comes with a much happier twist.

The support, encouragement, and kind words we’ve received from so many of you has been truly humbling. Thank you ❤️

We can’t wait to breathe new life into the store and continue serving the community with pride.

We really hope the support continues as we look forward to bringing even more value and great savings to Dundonian residents.

Through it all, our smiles never faded, our service never faltered, and our spirits never dampened.

Finally, please note we’ll be closed for about a week while we reset and prepare for our big return with fantastic savings. I’ll keep you updated every step of the way.

As promised, our closing down sale is now underway.

You’ll see clear, colourful notices throughout the store highlighting the savings available.

Over the next few weeks, discounts will gradually increase, reaching up to 90% off as we work to sell through everything.

We’ve had a few questions about the variety of stock on sale. To be clear, everything must go, so from Christmas to Easter, Summer to Valentine’s. We know it might look a little unusual, but that’s part of the process.

The store may be busier than usual, and we truly appreciate your patience and kindness as we continue to do our best to provide the service you deserve, right up until the very end ❤️

📢 As we move closer to our closing date, you may notice a few changes in store.

With deliveries now switched off, some items may no longer be available, and we’re truly sorry for any inconvenience this causes. But you’ll still find us as cheerful and welcoming as ever 😊.

Our team are working hard to keep the store looking it's best, which means we’ll be moving and condensing stock over the coming weeks.

We’ve also had lots of questions about a closing down sale. This will take place soon, though please note it won’t apply to Beauty & Cosmetics, cleaning products, or food. I’ll share the exact dates here as soon as they’re confirmed.

Finally, your support and kind words continue to humble and inspire us. It means so much to know that many of you look forward to shopping with us. We’ll do everything we can to keep spirits high and smiles coming ❤️.

📢 Customer Notice

As many of you will now know, our store will sadly be closing on 11th October 2025.

For more than 20 years, we’ve been proud to be part of the Wellgate Centre, serving thousands of wonderful customers and working alongside hundreds of truly fantastic colleagues.

Running this page locally has given us the privilege of supporting our community and getting to know so many of you who have become more than just customers, you’ve become friends and “regulars” we’ll never forget.

The news came as a real shock to us all, but the kindness, encouragement and warm words we’ve received each day have meant the world. They’ve reminded us just how special Dundee is, and how lucky we’ve been to be part of it. 🌞 ♥️ 🌈

Until the very last day, we’ll continue to welcome you with a laugh, a smile, and our very best service.

Finally, a personal ask – if any local employers are looking for new team members, please reach out. The colleagues I’ve had the honour of working with here are some of the most dedicated, hardworking and caring people you could hope to meet – they would be an asset to any business.

We've had an overwhelming response from so many amazing people.
We are working through a number of requests and will update again tomorrow (Wed 11th) if we have any left. We are trying to spread around as much as possible so thank you for your patience ❤️
