Last week we shared a little sneak peek… and now our official Summer Adventures Map for ANGUS is here

Created to help people get the most out of Arbroath’s new cycling infrastructure, the map highlights some of our favourite routes that can now be reached directly from Angus Cycle Hub using the new A92 shared-use path and wider path network.

🌿 Waulkmills & Letham Grange
🌾 Lunan Bay & Auchmithie

Along the way you’ll find beaches, cafés, playparks, coastal views, old railway paths, nature trails and maybe even an ice cream or two!

The map is completely free to download or pick up in store at Angus Cycle Hub when hiring a bike this summer.

And remember… thanks to support from Sustrans Places for Everyone, bike hire is just 99p at ACH with code FREEBIKEHIRE.

A few years ago these girls were joining our Cycle Bus for the first time.

Now?
They’re leading rides themselves!

Our Newtyle Spin Off Cycle Bus has become something really special. The group now cycles to school together independently, helping each other ride safely, confidently and consistently.

Seeing older pupils naturally mentor younger riders has been one of the best parts of the project 💛

The goal has always been bigger than just the school journey.
Confidence. Independence. Community. Leadership.

And maybe a wee bit of chaos and laughter on the way too 🌸🚲

Sneak Peek at our new map we have been working on to help you get the best out of the new A92 Cycle Path in Arbroath, Angus! These will be available in our Hub in Arbroath to go along side the 99p Bike Hire Project currently operating 10am - 3pm each week.

You can easily get from the centre of town to some amazing family fun locations all off road via bike! Think strawberries at , ice cream at the Shack, adventure at West Links Park, laughter at@chalmersfilmhouse and games at !

Places for Everyone Multi-Activity Events are coming to Arbroath NEXT weekend and this Summer! 🚲

We’re running a series of free cycling activities to celebrate the new A92 cycling and walking infrastructure in Arbroath and help more families get out and enjoy it. Activities will be spread along the route, with different things happening at Beacon Green beside Signal Tower and Angus Cycle Hub, so families can move between locations and enjoy the new path network.

Across the programme, you’ll find:
🚲 Dr Bike at Beacon Green - Free basic safety checks for your own bike.
🛞 Mobile Skills Track at Beacon Green - A modular bike track with berms and rollers to help build confidence and bike handling skills.
🍓 Smoothie Bike at Angus Cycle Hub - Use pedal power to blend your own smoothie made with mixed fruit, apple juice and ice.
🚴 Led Rides from Angus Cycle Hub to East Haven and back - Friendly group rides to help you explore the new path and the connecting NCN1
🚲 99p Bike Hire from Angus Cycle Hub - Hire a bike for the day using code arbroathbikehire through Renticy.

Activities are first come, first served, with no pre-booking required. Bike hire should be booked through Renticy where possible.

10am - 3pm* on
30th May, 31st May, 15th August 2026
*1st Led ride will leave at 10.30
2nd Led Ride will leave at 13.30

From family rides to the playpark, to coastal trips along the NCN1 towards East Haven, the new A92 cycle path makes it easier than ever to get out and explore by bike.
