Morning!!

I posted yesterday that I would keep the launderette open later than usual for customers to collect their laundry, but as usual, no one did!

We will be open this morning from 9am!
If your laundry has been sitting for a while please come and collect it!

My mother in law, Lizzy, bends over backwards for all her customers and she has been seriously unwell, not to mention having her beloved dog killed by a hit and run driver. If people don't collect their laundry how is she supposed to pay her rent?
This is a tiny business and it's on the brink of closing despite her working long hours, and quite frankly working her arse off!

Sorry if this post seems a bit harsh but as a family we are sick of watching her make herself ill with worry!!
As always massive thanks to all her amazing customers who have supported the launderette the past 3 years, and to all you lovely people who have checked in on her❤️

Morning!

As most of my customers know I have been pretty poorly the past few weeks and haven't been in the launderette. What the doctor originally thought was shingles was in fact a virus that attacked my nervous system which left me unable to walk without great difficulty and in tremendous pain. It has been a horrible time for myself and my family. I'm still shuffling around but I'm getting there.

The reason for my post today is to ask if any of my customers, or followers, live near the bottom end of Harrison Avenue or Rosemount Road and may have an outside camera or ring doorbell.

Sadly my much loved dog Murphy got out from the behind the house yesterday, he was chasing something, as lurchers do, and ran onto the main road where a driver doing double the speed limit mowed him down. This car couldn't have missed seeing him on the road and certainly couldn't have not heard the bang when they killed him.
The car was white with quite a high back. This happened at 10.55 am on Rosemount Road.

If anyone has any information please get in touch. We are absolutely devastated and his poor brother Doug, who has never been separated from, is a poor wee soul this morning 🥹

Hi! I'm Alix, Lizzy's daughter in law.

Unfortunately Lizzy is really unwell and that means a bit of reduced hours for the launderette tomorrow
We will only be open 7-11 on Thursday 16th

Hopefully back to normal on Friday 😊

We have no idea how long Lizzy will be off but please message for collection as normal, I will be answering all enquiries.

Morning!!

Just to let my customers know we are running behind with laundry this week!

I have been absolutely floored with shingles this week, I'm pretty unwell so haven't been able to work.
The girls are trying their very best to keep on top of things but if we can ask our customers to please be a little patient and they will get everything done!!
