There are tickets still available for the Crichton Crypt Tour this Sunday!

Here I am, having a wee recce in the Undercroft beneath the Crichton Memorial Church. It's a fascinating and enigmatic place and one that I love to visit in the company of guests on our Crichton Crypt Tour.

We often notice different aspects, be it the signature of a past stonemason, a variation in the acoustics, even a sense of presence has been reported down there on more than one occasion...

The next tour is on Sunday 7th June at 7pm with tickets available online (please see the booking link in comments) or through the wonderful Midsteeple Box Office.

I’m heading back to Broughton House…

On Saturday 20 June, I’ll be joining the Mostly Ghostly team for our second Good Old-Fashioned Ghost Hunt at Broughton House & Garden NTS, Kirkcudbright, in partnership with the National Trust for Scotland.

Held on the eve of the Summer Solstice, it’s an atmospheric time to investigate: a turning point in the year, rich in old beliefs and folklore.

Staff and visitors have reported a number of strange anomalies including: unexplained footsteps, mimicked voices, moving objects, and a strong sense of presence...

What will Broughton House reveal this time? Hope you can join us!
