Threads is situated on the busy Glasgow Road in Dumbarton and we are open Tues/ Wed/Thur/Fri from 10am till 3pm and Saturday 10 till 3pm We sell a wide range of yarns including Stylecraft, James Brett, King Cole, West Yorkshire Spinners, Woolcraft and Rico .We also stock a good range of haberdashery and sewing notions including some fabric. There's a wide selection of buttons and ribbon to choose from too !

They don’t have big budgets for advertising like big companies. They rely on you to share and like their posts.
They don’t pay shareholders, instead they pay for their kids to go to local groups and clubs. (Sometimes the kids feel like shareholders 🥴🤪).

📢 A wee heads up…

After nearly 12 years in retail, I’ve learned that sometimes the staff need a holiday too 😅

We’ll be open as normal Tuesday–Friday, 10am–4pm, but we’ll be CLOSED this Saturday (20th June).

We’ll be back open as usual on Tuesday at 10am.
