It's with a heavy heart that we are yet again having to close due to issues beyond our control. 

I'm gonna be real here and say I'm getting absolutely fed up. There's been a burst pipe underground for the last two days. Scottish Water have said since it's at my entrance it's a private pipe and something my Letting Agent have to deal with. The same Letting Agent who have been impossible to deal with for the last two months.

Its now got so bad I have just come in to no running water in the shop. It's also a safety risk as I have no idea how worse it's going to get with the leakages coming through the concrete by our door. With the flow getting heavier it's only a matter of time someone gets hurt. I'm not having that on my conscience.

Yet again this is another series of bad luck for the shop- and depending on the urgency of this being remedied- this very well could be the final nail in the coffin for Inn Defence. It's getting harder with every close for us to recoup and recover, and in all honesty it's mentally taking a huge toll.

I'm sorry to everyone that enjoys spending their Sunday here and I'm sorry to everyone passing by our way in the High Street who are now in need of armbands to use crossing the road.

🤘 PRICE MATCHING 🤘

In case you didn't know, there is currently a worldwide boycott of corporations, chains and supermarkets to protest the scary rise of costs that is making life unbearable for so many of us. We're doing our part today by price matching a certain fast food chain with our classic cheeseburger, and for the fun of it we're bringing back our chicken stack for one day only!

Just a reminder that our food is locally sourced, our delicious coffee is an independent supplier, and in order to not restock today, certain items are while stocks last. ❤️

Okay, this weekend we've decided to try our hand at making our own BBQ sauce in house with a perfectly on brand twist adding chipotle paste, fresh mango, and a generous dod of Monster Mango Loco.

Ask to try it on your burger in place of the usual sauce, or have a wee bit on the side to dip for a quid. Lock up yer drywall!

Open 12-4 today (I'm in Aberdeen playing a gig but our very capable and friendly staff are holding the fort. ❤️)

**TUESDAY REMINDER**

Please note we are closed Mondays and on Tuesdays it's a case of "if the doors open, please come up!"

The reason for this is that the majority of the time I work on my own and need to catch up on all the boring things and stuff that requires me to not be in the shop. I'll be in 1-5 today but I'll be at the post office some of that time and doing prep for the week ahead.

Regardless, we're always happy to see you! Tuesdays can just be a wee bit erratic and I'm sorry about that.

If you're coming in later I shall see you then. We're showing Howl's Moving Castle Wednesday night! ❤️
