These are unpaid/volunteer/work experience roles and application forms must be collected in person, from the 'David's Cave 2' shop and returned to count as having 'applied'.
We are not-for-profit Volunteer-run Social Enterprises, raising money for lots of Charities and Good Causes. As NO-ONE in our organisations is paid a larger proportion of our income goes to Charities & good causes locally than via most charity shops.
This vacancy is for a VOLUNTEER shop admin assistant(s), to assist with admin, recruitment and accounts, but will also need to work on the shop floor.
We are also seeking to fill a range of volunteer vacancies in both shops for a range of duties. All volunteers would be expected to start on the shop floor, cleaning and displaying stock, assisting customers, stock control etc. There are vacancies for volunteers who would like to also (in addition to the above) assist with online sales, social media, admin, testing stock, upcycling/repurposing and more. All the vacancies are voluntary, NO-ONE IN OUR ORGANISATIONS GETS PAID.
Ideally we are looking for volunteers to work in shifts 930am-130pm, 1pm-5pm, 430pm-830pm Mon-Sat at either Dudley store(DY1 1EF, OR DY2 7AZ), HOWEVER, we maybe able to be flexible with the times for the right candidate(s).
We offer limited travel expenses, refreshments and discount scheme. For volunteers able to commit 12+ hours(3 or more 4 hour shifts) per week, we may offer Makerspace membership.
