We caught up with Lee, our resident plant expert here at Dronfield Garden Centre, to get his top recommendations for late-summer colour! ☀️🌼 If your borders or pots need a mid-season boost, Lee’s picked out three reliable, high-impact plants that thrive right now through autumn! 🍂✨

1️⃣ Rudbeckia 'Goldsturm' 🌻
🗣️ "If you want non-stop golden colour late into the season, you can't go wrong with 'Goldsturm'. It loves full sun, holds up amazingly well against late-summer weather, and keeps blooming straight through until the first frosts. An absolute magnet for pollinators, too!" 🐝💛

2️⃣ Hydrangea paniculata 'Redlight' 🌺

The Big Butterfly Count is back, and it’s your chance to help protect the UK’s butterflies by taking part in the world’s biggest butterfly survey! Simply spend 15 minutes in a sunny spot counting the butterflies you see and submit your sightings. Every count helps scientists understand how our butterflies are doing and supports vital conservation work. 🌼🦋
