I know for me it was one of the first things I looked at when it came to reducing my own impact. I started looking for plastic-free alternatives and, at the time, the choice was limited. Now; there are so many amazing brands putting plastic where it should be: far away from single use. I love both and for their innovative approaches to refilling and reuse. Our final boxes have been sent and we’re not packing any more until the 30th. 👏🏼

We’ll be on our channel a little over the next 10 days but also will be spending some much needed time away from the ‘gram.

Christmas isn’t really for sale. 🤷‍♀️

The spirit of the season is found in creating cheer during the darkest days and resting and recharging.

The gifts are just a fabulous extra addition that sadly has been commercialised to the extreme. No matter what you get, or what you gave, I guarantee this time next year - your memories will be about the people who made it special, not the things.

Big huge hugs to everyone who won’t get to see family. I know a lot of people are struggling with isolation or sickness. My thoughts are with you and I promise we’ll get through this. 🤗

Last orders are approaching fast!

🎁 Monday 20th midday is the very latest to order a gift via our website for standard delivery

🎁 After this we’re taking orders until midday Wednesday 22nd offering expedited services (more expensive!)

🎁 final orders for all London postcodes via standard delivery is Weds 22nd at midday to arrive on the 24th (or before) via our zero emission partners

Have you fallen into these traps??

It’s still not too late to order something lovely and eco-friendly from a small or independent business. But it’s getting close!

The easiest trap to fall into for me is number #4 - getting the thing and saying “oh well they can return it” or “at least it’s something to open on the day”. This feels like a good solution, but more often than not returns are terrible for the environment. 🙈🙈

Think about it. Your parcel has a to reverse its way through a supply chain of middle men, possibly even a global network and enter a new chain where additional staff, processes and costs stack up to the point it’s cheaper to chuck than to resell. 🥺

So, if you’re looking to order something online (clothing) not specifically requested, purchasing from retailers who are transparent and committed to solving theses problems is paramount!
