This time last week we were at the Brighton Guitar Show 🎸
We had a great day with lots of conversations with players and builders alike, thank you to everyone who stopped by, it was nice meeting you all!

Just in, some spectacular poplar burl, no filters needed here! This wood is absolutely amazing under some stain to really bring out the extensive figuring.
Available now for commissions, snag yourself one of these silly nice pieces in a custom Lir or something else.

For full transparency, I have not yet cut these pieces, instead I used some clever photo magic to mirror the images and estimate what they will look like once split and bookmatched.

We had a great day out at the Oxfordshire Guitar Show today, although we could've done without it being the hottest day of the year so far! 🥵

All the things you don't see.
Hidden underneath my fretboards is a whole host of parts silently doing their thing. We're all familiar with truss rods, but my necks also have carbon fibre stiffening rods to help keep them straight, as well as threaded inserts for better neck-body mounting that traditional bolt on necks.
Plus alignment pins for the fretboard, but they aren't nearly as interesting!
All to say, it looks pretty busy under the hood!
