We're rebranding!

For those of you who haven't recieved our newsletter, or seen on our stories, from the 1st of May, Eco Coach House will be no more.

Our current website will close and our new website with our new name will open. It's been a long time coming and I'm glad it's nearly here!

Unfortunately, as the site is closing, any Coach Coins you have collected need to be used by the 1st of May as I cannot transfer them to the new website.

It's definitely worth checking if you have any as a couple of people have mentioned they didn't realise they had some to use!

Does anyone else feel like this year is going so fast!

I can't believe we're in July already.

Have you got any swaps lined up for this month?

Plastic free July is a great time to make a swap which you've been thinking about and want to try. I don't believe it should be about throwing away every scrap of plastic you own. After all, some plastic is useful and we should try to reuse as much as possible instead of throwing it away (I'm thinking of take away containers, spray bottles etc)

I do think it's a good month to try and cut down on the single use plastics we use. That where the real issues are.

But it isn't a race, and you shouldn't feel pressured to get rid of every scrap of plastic and never buy any again. As much as we would all like that, it just isn't something which is possible for most of us.

So use this month to swap a little if you can. Living plastic free isn't something which can be achieved within a month. But if we all swap a couple of bits it will really add up.

I'll try to share some of what we do as a family to cut down on our plastics, and even so posts where we struggle.

It's a marathon, not a sprint after all

Whilst we're still away, I thought I would add a post of some of our travel essentials for this trip.

John and I both use our matching travel mugs.

Keeping skincare/toiletries simple we have taken a box of hair and body wash . One box has been more than enough for us to take away. And then I've also added a Clear Skin cream by , micellar water (not pictured) and face pads, for myself.

We also have toothpaste tablets, the kids have their bamboo toothbrushes and John and I have our electric toothbrushes.

Patch Plasters- essential whilst going away with 2 kids. But luckily not needed so far 🤞

Some 'wonky' sheets of kitchen roll and mucky wipes which haven't made to cut to be sold. And an Eco Scrubber for washing up.

We've also managed to test out travel soap for washing the kids clothes if they've got a bit grubby. Which has done a brilliant job!

We've also taken a dish washing bar, friendly soap for hands, spare cutlery for whilst we're out exploring, scrunchies for me and Katie and wash cloths.

Safety razors!

Personally I love mine. I've had it a couple of years now and only managed to cut myself once.

They might need really daunting, but once you've used it you'll be wondering what you were working about.

I've put together a shaving starter kit. Great for beginners or for a gift.

And we also have some pretty new colours of safety razors in stock. These are great if you have more than 1 person using them and need to tell them apart. Or just because they're super cute.

We have quite a lot of newness on the website. All uploaded within the last few days/weeks.

Hopefully I'll remember to show them all off on the grid. It's mad to think I stock (and personally use) things which have been on my website 2 years and yet I've never spoken about.

But here's one of our newest products. Vegan mascara cake. Plastic free, in a cute little tin. I haven't personally tested this one out yet - I rarely wear make up. But I've heard good things from those who do use them.

They don't come with a mascara wand, so if you're thinking of switching over, make sure to keep one from a mascara tube!

CSP are finally live 🎉

I've been making CSP for around 2 years now, for special requests and for my stockists. But I've finally managed to get it on my own website!

We currently have sizes from 7" to 10" in regular and heavy, in loads of stunning prints!

I'll also be releasing liners and a super heavy 12" pad in the coming weeks. I ran out of fabric making this lot, around 100 pads made in total!

So excited to introduce this new brand to my website!

products are all vegan friendly and natural, eco friendly and sustainable.

One of my personal favourite things about this brand is their packaging! Each glass jar has an aluminium lid, but the best part is the label. Each jar has a plantable flower and plant seed label. The attention to detail from this brand is amazing.

The creams feel lovely on the skin and don't leave a sticky feeling. You only need a tiny bit as well. I've been using the clear skin cream and the first time I used it I realised I used way too much! I only needed about half of what I thought.
