About 20 years ago I decided to pursue something I enjoyed. This being Floristry and design. I was not only lucky to be able to achieve my City & Guilds, I was blessed with working with someone who has become a dear friend. It has sat on the back burner many times since then popping up at times when I least expect it. While this was sitting on the back burner I followed another love of mine. The w

orld of Spiritual Healing and inner peace (sometimes this does feel unachievable ;) I spent two years on a Healing Course which certainly brought it's challenges. I also enjoyed the benefits of meditation groups as well. Now for the furniture bit. I've always had a love of Shabby Chic and cottage style furniture. Painting (rather badly) things that I had been given so as to spruce up the home, so now that I've have worked with my hubby, David in his vehicle repair business for donkeys years I realise that I have my very own painter. Why didn't I think of this before? The beauty of this is that most pieces can be spray baked using traditional water based paint Eg: Laura Ashley, Farrow & Ball etc, giving a really lovely finish. The final piece of the jigsaw. I have managed to persuade David that he love's painting for me !
