There are some evenings that remind you just how lucky we are to live in Dorset 🌻

Last night we headed to Maiden Castle Farm, home of the Dorset Sunflower Trail, for their Sundowner Session — and it absolutely did not disappoint!

Supporting local businesses is so important to us, and this one feels even more special because the Dorset Sunflower Trail is also helping to support the Dorset County Hospital Charity Fund!

Hazel and her incredible team have worked tirelessly to create an experience that locals and visitors can enjoy throughout the summer, and they really have created something special. If you’re looking for things to do in Dorset, a Dorset day out, somewhere beautiful with friends and family, or simply want to experience a Dorset sunset surrounded by sunflowers, this is a MUST!

We had the best evening — some of our favourite people, family time too, beautiful surroundings and watching the sun dip over the sunflower fields. What more could we want?

If you’re visiting Dorset, put the Dorset Sunflower Trail at Maiden Castle Farm on your list. And if you’re local, go and support this wonderful local business while you can!

WE’VE BEEN KEEPING A BIG SECRET…

And at 13 seconds into this reel, we can finally tell you!

Something very special is coming for Spring 2027…

PYO TULIPS are coming to our NEW SITE!

That’s right — a brand-new place to wander and pick your own beautiful blooms and make some very special spring memories.

We’ve been working behind the scenes to make this happen, ordering more bulbs than we ever have before and we honestly cannot wait to welcome you.

If you love tulips, flower fields, PYO flowers, spring days out, picking your own flowers and beautiful places to visit, you’re going to want to follow along.

Follow our page now so you don’t miss the location reveal, opening dates, behind-the-scenes updates and everything we’re planning for Spring 2027.

And tell us… WHO WOULD YOU BRING TO OUR NEW TULIP FIELD?

Excuse my various facial expressions, but I was watching the eclipse via my phone filming the colander. Very impressed with how it worked!!

POV: when you put a baker and flower farmer together…

…and suddenly an apple tree becomes a team sport. šŸ˜‚

Me (Sophie) + Lizzie from Lizzie Baking Bird = one shakes the tree, one collects the apples, and Claire gets the evidence.

Because apparently when you put a flower farmer and a baker together, the logical thing to do is go apple picking… but make it chaotic.

We’re already thinking about what these apples could become… I’m hoping Lizzie will let us taste!

If you love seasonal baking, British flowers, flower farming, baking from scratch, locally grown produce, countryside life and behind-the-scenes small business chaos, you’re in the right place.

Watch until the end for the full apple-collecting operation.

Who would you be?ā€ØšŸŽ The apple shakerā€ØšŸ„§ The bakerā€ØšŸŽ„ The one filming the chaos

Tag your baking buddy / flower-loving friend who needs to see this.

Follow us for British-grown flowers, flower farming and life behind the scenes, and Lizzie Baking Bird for baking and delicious things made from scratch.

Beautiful summer tones for C & J’s wedding on the 01.08.26.

And just look at that view over Ringstead Bay… St Catherine’s-By-The-Sea is definitely a favourite for intimate ceremonies.

C & J opted for our smaller meadow boxes to frame their ceremony. These doubled as their reception flowers, as each meadow box holds 4 jam jars of flowers. Making your wedding flowers work for you!

Some of the most beautiful weddings are the most intimate.

Nestled along the Jurassic Coast, St Catherine’s-by-the-Sea, near Ringstead Bay in Dorset, provided the perfect setting for a beautifully personal wedding ceremony this weekend.

Have you discovered this hidden gem before? Save this reel for your wedding inspiration and share it with someone planning their Dorset wedding.

Last year, we created this meadow-inspired ground arch for K & R.

We believe your wedding flowers should work beautifully for you — not just for one moment, but throughout your wedding day and beyond.

Wherever possible, we design wedding florals that can be repurposed, moved and enjoyed in different parts of your celebration. From ceremony flowers becoming part of your reception styling, to flowers being taken home and enjoyed long after the last dance, we want you to love your wedding flowers for as long as possible.

At the heart of everything we do are British-grown flowers and foliage. Every stem we use is either grown by us or sourced from other local flower growers, keeping seasonal, locally grown flowers at the heart of our wedding floristry.

And for couples wanting to share the joy of their flowers, our Evening Bloom Bar offers a beautiful way to give your wedding flowers a second life.

A thoughtful and memorable way to continue the celebration, with your wedding flowers becoming beautiful gifts for the people you love.

Talk to us about how your wedding florals can be repurposed and how our Evening Bloom Bar can help you and your guests enjoy them for even longer.

Because your wedding flowers should work for you — beautifully, thoughtfully and in more ways than one.
