I’m sharing some sad news today.
Rosefinch will be permanently closing the doors on Half Moon Street on the 30th of December. It's not been an easy decision to make, and it's including several contributing factors; the main ones bring rising costs both in business and personally, wanting to spend more time with my family while, and also wanting to focus more on my graphic design roots. Rosefinch won’t be going completely, just going from a permanent location for now. There will still be creative workshops held, and you’ll (hopefully) see us at local markets and events, plus I’m still very much passionate about supporting independents so will still be involved in that capacity.
As I mentioned, it’s been a very difficult decision to make and has included many sleepless nights and more than a few tears, but it is absolutely the right decision for where I am in life right now.

As I’m not moving to another permanent location, I’ll be selling the majority of items in the shop, including all of our seating, tables, crockery, cutlery, white goods, coffee machine, and shelving units at extremely reasonable prices. So if you know of anyone in need of any of the above please message me.

Finally, I want to say a massive thank you to everyone that has come and joined us here at Rosefinch; and for making us feel so welcome to Sherborne.
I’ve met some truly wonderful people, and hope to stay in touch with as many of you as possible.

We had a busy afternoon/evening last Sunday, swapping over for Christmas.
We have lots of lovey new stock perfect for gifting. Gorgeous wrapping paper and cards by very talented people! We still have everyday and birthday cards too, which are in the newly finished alcove.

Unfortunately, due to a staff illness, we'll be closed again. We should hopefully be back open soon though! ❤️
