💔 I honestly can’t explain how deflated I feel today.

No-shows are hard enough as a small business, but when they happen on a weekend, it really hits differently.

I put my family life on hold to open my doors at weekends because I genuinely love my job and I love helping my clients. I give my time, my energy and my heart to every appointment.

So to sit alone in my treatment room for 45 minutes, waiting for someone who simply hasn’t turned up, without a message or a phone call, is honestly heartbreaking. 💔

I completely understand that life happens. Things come up. Plans change. I will always understand that — but please just communicate with me. A quick message or a phone call is all it takes.

I’m a small business, and an empty appointment isn’t just an empty space in my diary. It’s time I could have spent with my family, another client I could have helped, and income that my small business relies on.

So, with a very heavy heart, from today I will be taking full payment upfront for all weekend appointments.

This isn’t something I ever wanted to have to do, but I feel I have no choice if I’m going to continue giving up my weekends to offer these appointments.

To all of my wonderful clients who respect my time, turn up, communicate and support my little business — thank you from the bottom of my heart. 🥹❤️

One of the biggest compliments I can receive as a Spray Tan Technician is being trusted with a bride’s glow on one of the most important days of her life. 🤍

This beautiful bride chose my Sienna X Clear Non-Transfer Tan, giving her a flawless, natural-looking glow without the traditional guide colour. It’s the perfect choice for brides, as there’s no risk of transfer onto that stunning white dress while still developing into a radiant, even tan.

What many people don’t realise is that clear tanning solution actually takes more precision to apply. There is no guide colour to follow, so every movement has to be carefully mapped across the skin. Years of experience, attention to detail and confidence in my technique ensure every area is covered perfectly, creating a seamless finish from head to toe.

Seeing these gorgeous wedding photographs and knowing I played a small part in helping her feel confident and glowing fills me with so much pride. After nearly 10 years of perfecting my craft, moments like these remind me exactly why I love what I do.

From the moment she walked through my door, we laughed from start to finish. The treatment flew by because we were too busy putting the world to rights and having a proper giggle!

One of the things I love most about bridal tanning is that every bride is different. Not every bride wants a deep bronze glow, and that’s exactly why every appointment is tailored to the individual.

For this beautiful bride, we opted for a much lighter, natural-looking Sienna X glow. We didn’t have the luxury of a trial beforehand due to timings, but with a thorough consultation, understanding her skin tone, dress, and the look she wanted for her special day, we absolutely nailed it.

The result was a soft, flawless tan that simply enhanced her natural beauty—no orange tones, no harsh lines, just healthy, radiant skin that photographed beautifully and complemented her elegant white dress perfectly.
