This week's SWEET OF the week is LUCKY TATTIES

A lucky tattie is a traditional Scottish retro sweet made from a white fondant core flavored with cassia and rolled in ground cinnamon powder to resemble a tiny potato. Historically popular from the 1950s through the 1970s, they earned their name because they originally contained a small hidden plastic toy or charm.

We're kicking off our brand-new Sweetie of the Week series from somewhere completely normal... the rooftops of Dingwall High Street! 😂
And this week's sweet is... BUTTERNUTS! 🍬🧡
A traditional Scottish favourite, Butternuts are bright-orange, retro boiled sweets with a sweet sugar coating and a delicious buttery vanilla flavour.
And despite the name... they're completely nut-free! 😋

Vikings will be parading down Dingwall High Street to celebrate Dingwall’s 800-year history as a Royal Burgh! There will also be a Viking reenactment and crafts to enjoy! 🎪🎈
