When Alfie was christened he was gifted a Briar Nook Gift Voucher (available from my website) & when his Mum was ready, she asked me to create a bear like the one I did for his big sister, 3 years earlier.

I have retired this style of bear, so you won't see it on my website,
but I am happy to bring it out of retirement for returning customers.

Back home from our summer break to the beautiful island of Skiathos🇬🇷. We have had a fabulous time with great friends and it has gone far too quickly. I will be ready to get back to it on Monday with your keepsake orders & preparations for our stall at Mirfield Show on Sunday 23rd August. My Etsy shop is back open and the dog bandanas & Harris Tweed®️ embroidery art are available to purchase from Yorkshire Makers, Mirfield.

It means so much when clients come back, and it was such a privilege to complete this latest bear for my returning client. I had made a bear & cushion in memory of her Mum, Doreen around 2 years ago, and she recently requested a matching bear in memory of her Dad, Ken.

Both are made entirely from her parents’ own well-loved clothes, and both feature the Petanque Club logo — a lovely tribute to the place they went and enjoyed together.

🐻 Doreen's bear and cushion was made from her favourite skirt, gloves, cardigan and Petanque club polo shirt.

🐻 Ken’s bear was made from his check shirts, soft cable-knit jumper, striped jumper & also a Petanque club polo shirt.

Both of these bears are fully jointed.

No day trip out is complete without luxury homebaked baked treats 🍰🥐🧁🥯🍩

The Boomerang Deli team are already busy deciding on which delicious home‑baked cakes and sweet treats you'll all be wanting next week— the kind you swear you’ll “just have one” of - then you end up with a box of 4! 😋

You’ll also find all your park favourites which you'll be familiar with from the Chai & Coco coffee pod, from our regular brownie and bakes stall Emma at Braeside Bakes.

And keep an eye out for Kyle from Franklinsmiths, who’s whipping up stuffed croissants and a whole host of scrummy savory & sweet goodies that should probably come with a warning label they're so good ⚠️ Or, if you’re more a hot & sweet kinda person, swing by the Coffee & Doughnut Cabin for a freshly cooked, sugary doughnut. They smell like nostalgic days out at the sea side.

Don't worry St John Ambulance are on hand for when you've eaten too much of the good stuff 😆
