Malabrigo Day 2026 - Exciting News!
Malabrigo are hosting a KAL (knit-along) to make this gorgeous shawl - "Hygge." The pattern is released in the middle of September and to make sure you get your mitts on it as soon as, you can register at the link at the end. We will have some printed versions in the shop a bit later on.
If you'd like to be a little more sociable with your knitting, we invite you to join us at Pins & Needles on our Malabrigo Day, which is the evening of Friday 23rd October. There'll be all sorts of other things going on as well - raffle, test yarns, nibbles, free patterns, maybe a goody bag. It'd be lovely if you'd like to spend a bit of time working on this shawl, along with others who are doing it. Tickets will be £5 and will also include a £5 voucher to spend on Malabrigo yarn, as well as a raffle ticket for a box of Malabrigo goodies. The tickets aren't ready yet but if you comment or message, we'll put you on the guest list and let you know as soon as the tickets are ready.
Our Linda is busy working on our shop sample but she's making it in Arroyo - the original yarn is Caprino, which we do stock but it's quite pricey, being a cashmere blend. Of course we won't dissuade you one bit from buying the Caprino but we like to give you options :-D
