As you know I have all over fibromyalgia and severe osteoarthritis in the spine. Due to the extreme heat 🥵 today, tomorrow and looking like possible Friday, I will not be working as I am struggling with fibro flare ups. So I will be resting (with three fans blowing on me). The website will still be open to take orders but please bare in mind that roughly 3 days need to be added on despatch time.
Stay safe 🙏 in this heat 🥵 and keep hydrated and check on elderly, and vulnerable, and don't forget animals.

💛 A little update from Handmade by Kagz 💛

After a few let‑downs where I spent hours designing custom artwork — testing fonts, painting, varnishing, and preparing engraving layouts — only for customers not to purchase, I’ve had to introduce a Custom Design Fee.

This helps protect the time and care that goes into creating bespoke designs while keeping things fair for everyone.

Here’s how it works:
✨ Custom Design Fee – £50
→ £30 is refunded if you go ahead and purchase the final item.
→ £20 is non‑refundable, covering the design time, font trials, paint tests, and communication.

So whether you’d like a name design, a special layout, or a unique artwork concept, you can now purchase the Custom Design Fee listing and tell me what you’d like (up to 150 characters).

This change means I can keep offering high‑quality, personalised designs without losing valuable time — and genuine customers still benefit from the refund when they proceed.

I’ve upgraded to 4mm thick wood — double the strength, cleaner engraving, and a much more solid feel in your hand.

Yes, prices will now be at a premium level, but still more affordable than many other premium makers. You’re getting upgraded quality without the inflated price tag.

You can order now on website www.handmadebykagz.com.
They will be shipped out on 7th December, however if you prefer earlier, just put a comment on your order or email me [email protected] with your order number and let me know if you would like it during month of November.
