Tiny have announced an interesting bus model this week which we thought we'd share with you,

Its based on an MAN Lorry chassis, and similar variants of this have been noted in the UK.

This 1/76 Scale Model is based on a vehicle in the Hong Kong Fire Service fleet, part number 66446 and is available to pre order from us now for just £31.49.

Northcord UKBUS6545 E400MMC Thames Valley Buses
Northcords thirtieth livery on the 10.9 metre long, single-door E400MMC casting is ukbus 6545, a model from the fleet of Thames Valley Buses, produced with unique branding for Bracknell / Camberley route 194 and representing fleet number 796 (YY67 HDO) that was new to Reading Buses in 2017.
Thames Valley Buses Limited, trading as Thames Valley Buses, is based in Bracknell. It was known as Courtney Buses until 2021. Founded in 1973, the company operates a network of commercial and contracted local bus services and school buses in Berkshire, north Hampshire and small parts of Oxfordshire, Surrey and Buckinghamshire. In March 2019 it was purchased by Reading Buses, with the company having gradually rebranded to its current name between October 2019 and April 2021.
796 carries a full and colourful livery for route branded 194, heading to Camberley via Great Hollands. These special, comprehensive livery details are 100% reproduced onto ukbus6545.

We got here at Brands Hatch early today to have a chilled day at the track and watch a bit of today’s racing, and we’re really looking forward to tomorrow.

The bus display is the first display as you come through the main entrance and with the weather reported to be scorcho then it’s going to be great.

There is plenty of space for the buses!
There has been a provision made for buses that just turn up, and remember it’s driver + one that will get in free of charge.
We’ve got a great view of the track from where we are.

We’d really like to help to grow this event to a big yearly bus meet up, but we’ll need buses to do so.

We are expecting a reasonable turnout tomorrow, but can’t be sure how many as we do expect some to turn up ‘ad hoc’

Bus Track Tours are 0800-0845 (we believe these are being done by Go Bus but tbc)

All single deckers attending get to take to the track at the end of the day.

There will be car racing, fun fair, car displays, catering, and of course the buses.

UKBUS6546 E400MMC West Midlands Heritage Livery
6148 - SN15 LHV

Now released in Hong Kong and with us in 4-6 Weeks, We thought we would share some pictures, and some more information about this model with you.
Northcords 31st livery on the 10.9 metre long, single-door E400MMC casting is ukbus 6546, a model from the fleet of National Express West Midlands, carrying the vintage Birmingham City Transport livery with National Express West Midlands fleet name on the front panel and on the upper rear window.
The model as replicated is National Express West Midlands 6148 (SN15 LHV) on route 11A to Acocks Green with ‘via Kings Heath’ carried in the front destination

6148 was new to Yardley Wood garage in May 2015. It was repainted into retro Birmingham City Transport livery, including trademark khaki roof, in August 2024.

This is the third NMC model carrying a classic West Midlands livery. The first one is ukbus 9501 Scania OmniCity double-deck model that replicated 4780 (BU08 EHZ) in West Midlands PTE livery on route 67 to Birmingham. The ukbus 9501 model was launched in August 2023. The second one is ukbus 6205 Alexander Dennis Enviro400 model that replicated 4722 (BU07 LGY) in Birmingham City Transport livery on route 18 to Yardley Wood. The ukbus 6205 model was launched in September 2024.
