Lock down is a funny old thing and while things have generally slowed down for most, it's particularly hectic our end! So I though I would introduce ourselves and some random facts about the Country and Hound crew.
Firstly Mr & Mrs Hound 👩❤️👨
Mrs Hound, obviously the leader of the pack, likes all things country (can you guess where the name came from!) and loves nothing more than to be outside exploring the countryside. She likes hounds, horses, tractors, trucks, cheese, wine, cheese & wine, wine & cheese.
Mr Hound likes Lego and all manly big boy toys that keep him out of mischief. He has recently perfected the art of social distancing by putting himself at the furthest point in the back garden away from the children, which leads me on to the tribe.
The Ferral Boys 🐵
The tribe consist of three- Alex and Edward 6.5yr old twins and Baby Bear 3 & 3/4yrs. They are the type you would not bring to a friend's wedding. Birthdays are fine as the music generally dulls out the noise, but these boys are larger than life. They share their momma's passion for being free and adventures outdoors, which always leads to muddy faces, full bellys and a sound night's sleep.
Digby Dog 🐾
Who could forget Diggers! Digby is an American Basset Hound who found his way to us at 10 weeks old. He's my inspiration for illustration. The most loyal, affectionate yet stubborn and needy hound I have ever known. Gone are the days where I am permitted to have a bath let alone have a wee by myself.
Our Home 🏠
After renovating our first house with 6 month old twins, we said never EVER again. And here we are, 5 yrs later and 8 months into our second home doing exactly the same thing. I didn't care too much for the open plan look at first but all of a sudden it has grown on me given the length of time we have had no ceilings down stairs.
We would love to hear about you, your family and or course your hound and where you are from!
