To mark the start of the World Cup competition we
have a selection of sports clothing for chidden
We have football sets , football shirts, . football shorts all at £1.50. per item.
Some have logos, some do not,
Call in to see if you can find something from our football items that you would loke to purchase.

Just to let you know,
We have a flash sale on our adult clothing for the next couple of weeks.
To make room for new stock we have reduced current items to either Half original price, or to £1.00.
Look for the red sale cubes on the sale items, and get a bargain.

To all supporters,
Due to staff holidays and staff illness we will be unable to open for the next 3 Thursdays.
On a happier note we are accepting donations again.
Please remember, only 2 bags per person so we don't become swamped again.
More importantly remember we only want sellable goods that clean, undamaged, and complete .

Just an update on our staffing situation.
We currently can't guarantee that we will be open as normal.
Some days we may have to shut with little or no notice .
ALSO WE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTING DONATIONS OVER THE NEXT FEW WEEKS DUE TO OUR STAFFUNG ISSUES.
This is only a temporary problem and we ask for your understanding, and are grateful for your continued support.

Apologies to all, but over the next couple of weeks I can't guarantee that the shop will be open every day, due to possible staff shortages.
Could I also ask that you don't give us any donations over the next couple of weeks, as we have this possible shortage of staff,.

To all those donators who send us excellent sellable goods.
We have been swamped with donations over the last couple of months.
Sadly we still are receiving a few donations that are unsellable and should have been taken to the tip by those donating them, and this causes restrictions on the amount of donations we can take .
We will have to restrict donations to only 2 bags per person for the present.
Apologies to those who genuinely support what we are trying to achieve and only donate, clean, complete and undamaged sellable goods.

Donations.
We are a non-profit organisation. No volunteers are paid, as we want all our takings to be used to support, local, national, and global community initiatives .Please don't donate items that are incomplete, damaged, unwashed or unclean.
This is particularly important with clothing items. We do not have the facility or time to wash dirty donated items.
When items are donated that cannot be sold due to their condition, we have to spend time on separating them from sellable items, and the time, and sometimes expense of getting them to local tips.
If your donation is incomplete, dirty, stained, chipped ,and unsellable, then please dispose of it yourself. Don't give it to us to get rid of for you.
If you acre someone who donated items in excellent condition, then this message is not for you.
Our gratitude and thanks are for you.

The Helping Hand Charity Shop
Denton Methodist Church
Hyde Road Denton.
We are a charity shop set up to support our local community.
Our aim is to sell; the best quality goods at the lowest possible prices.
All our stock comes from generous supporters and all shop staff are unpaid volunteers, so every thing we make is profit except for a few overheads.
The money we raise goes to support local, national, and international causes.
The donations we receive , if they are clean. complete, and in excellent condition are sold in the shop, and we also send some of our clothing donations to a Leukaemia Charity, and to the Ukraine.
