I'm Andrea, a professional jeweller based in Northamptonshire, with over 15 years experience in making and repairing jewellery.I started work in a traditional family jewellers over 15 years ago, where I received training in goldsmithing and repair work from the owner, who himself had over 40 years experience as a jeweller.I went on to study for the National Association of Goldsmiths Professional J
ewellers Diploma, which I passed with distinction, one of the proudest moments in my life.I progressed to become the resident Goldsmith, and for eight years carried out many repairs each week on the premises, in addition to regular pearl necklace rethreading work.Following the retirement of the owner, I moved on to store management for a jewellery chain, but missing the service and values of the traditional jeweller, I have tried to return to those roots by offering my own jewellery repair service through my website, as well as designing and making my own jewellery. I have been running the website on a part time basis for 4 years now, and am proud to have had many satisfied and repeat customers for my rethreading and repair services in that time.In addition to my repair work, I have created many bespoke one off pieces for peoples special occasions, for example, jewellery to match the wedding attire of brides and their bridesmaids, complete with tiaras, necklaces, bracelets and earrings, as well as "re-making" treasured jewellery items into new pieces, so the owner can continue to enjoy wearing them.As well as my bespoke work, I have created some small collections of handmade jewellery along various themes, many inspired by places I've seen in the world, which are available for sale on this website.
