•WHEN I WRITE ‘US/WE’ I MEAN……•
•Laura. On social media it’s me and I’m the maker of the wax melts and candles.
Born and raised in Somerset,the county that has it all; rolling fields, close to the seaside and carnival!
When I’m not making I’ll be walking the dogs, working as an Assistant Head if Year in a Secondary School or tbh running children around and trying to remember their 10000000 activities!
•Steve an Elements wax cheerleader. He may well be stood behind my stall at a market fair, slightly terrified if I’ve left him that someone with questions. He knows the set up and pack down routine in full.
•Darcy, offspring number 1. I see she shares or likes all my posts and then they are liked by lots of her wonderful friends. She trials scents in her room on her electric burner for our test sheets and has taken some of the photographs for this page and the website.
•Morris, offspring number 2, likes to pop into my workroom for a chat and be given the job of popping the melts from their moulds.
He was my sidekick at a recent event and was more particular about the stall looking perfect than I am and I loved that.
•Lots of friends and family, who know who they are, are behind the scenes sharing posts, gifting, buying me a gazebo for Christmas, popping to events to say hello, using our products in their homes, telling friends about our little business…
I love home fragrance. I’ve never been able to resist a candle or melt. The making learning curve is brilliant fun playing right into my love of Science. Realising the quality difference of plant based wax and the right fragrances oils to know our products are the best they can be while being kind to nature makes me proud.
My favourite scents are vanilla, coconut and lemongrass but I love trying new fragrances that I wouldn’t naturally choose only to fall in love with them. Thank you if you’ve read this far. I’m so grateful for every follower. Comment if there is anything else you’d like to know…..
