I was brought up on a beef farm in Cornwall.Went to Dartington Hall School. After being a private pupil to Jeweller Charlotte De Syllas for three years in London I travelled in South America before embarking on a BA degree in woven textiles at West Surrey College of Art & Design that specialised in the traditional crafts of spinning and natural dyeing. I came to Jura in 1979 and after having a fa

mily and building a cordwood workshop I am specialising in providing to a local market which demands a wide range of items. I enjoy being versatile and using different methods such as crochet, knitting, weaving etc so there are hats, headbands, throws, rugs, cushions, handbags and more available for sale. I am normally at home and welcome visitors but to avoid disappointment if you call prior to visiting I will ensure I am available. Throughout the summer I attend the Wednesday Craft Fair in the village hall.
