Merry Christmas Everyone, its been a great year for Tactical Retreat, We got to meet so many new people and got to try out so many new games.

Just wanted to also highlight our finished painting competition ran by our member Nathan and congratulate our winners!

We ran it across four categories with a bonus for most Creative.

1. Experienced Infantry
2. Experienced Vehicle / Monster
3. Beginner Infantry
4. Beginner Vehicle / Monster.

With a selection of prizes ranging from a Combat patrol for 1st place in each category to Store Credit for all Participants.

We are open This Weekend 26th 27th and 28th as normal for our Christmas traditional 40k Armageddon game. So if you need any last minute purchases we are open as usual to support your holiday painting and if you havent already participants should collect their store credit / rewards next time they are in.

The Shop will be closed for the first weekend of the new year.

Restocked and ready with most of the new 40k & Bolt Action Releases.

New stock (almost) every week.

Open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays 11am - 5pm
Discord is available to help arrange games and share your recent models and hobbycrafting. (Invite link available upon request.)

2 tables available for playing (can be reserved in advance) terrain is provided. (£5 per table for the whole day)

We will be open 27th 28th and 29th just ahead of new years but will be closed on the first weekend of the new year. 3rd 4th & 5th January.

After that back to normal.

Our Flames of War 40% off sale will be ending on January 1st so dont miss out.

With our Warhammer 40k all comers league going into its fourth round, it has been very exciting to see everyones armies and to have so many games being played.

Last week we also had a few games of Star Wars Armada featuring the Rebel Alliance versus the Empire and this weekend we are looking forward to a few games including a 2vs2 Horus Heresy learning game and of course more Warhammer 40k, Age of Sigmar and Warhammer Old World.

If you are interested in playing anything in particular or just looking a place to sit and paint, tables are available. Feel free to join up on our community Discord to chat with other local wargamers or arrange some games of your own for both new and experienced players, all are welcome.

We are arranging a friendly Warhammer 40k league in the shop with some prizes and discounts on selected products for everyone that takes part.
All skill levels are welcome, if you are interested and want to take part or get more info ask in store or via message.
Sign up ends on the 17th March.
The league will be running for a while but ending dates will be announced to give everyone a chance to get their games in. If you have your 2k (points) list and faction decided.
Please have it written down and drop it into the shop to officially register.
You will not be able to change your list once its been input into our table though so choose carefully!

Hi everyone Tactical Retreat has changed it's format to a members wargaming club and will reopen this Friday 20th January. It's opening days and hours have now changed to Friday - Sunday 11am-5pm minimum this will vary depending on games being played. Thank you for all the support you have given me thus far and hope that it may continue.
