I remember the day I fell in love with woodwork. I was 10 years old in Berkhamsted school and Mr Oakins introduced me to woodwork. I made a footstool which funnily enough, I still have in my house.

3 years later I had a Bridges circular saw for my Birthday from my parents. I don't think they were too impressed when I used it in the house though...

68 years later and I'm proud to say I've made close to 10,000 items that sit in peoples homes and businesses all over the UK.

At 81, I still get up every day with a spring in my step to join the mice in the workshop.

It's safe to say I have no plans on slowing down and I've just signed a new two year lease on our lovely unit in Cowbridge, South Wales.

If you need anything made from repurposed scaffold planks for your home or business, message the mice (we could do with some more work after signing that lease!) or pop up to the workshop/showroom at any time for a chat.

There’s something special about seeing these builds go from workshop to somewhere people actually sit, sip, and slow down for a minute.

A whole bunch of tables have just been collected and are now on their way to Treorchy to be installed in a new cafe opening in a couple of weeks. Cloud Nine is this young couple's new venture and they're busy experimenting with the new coffee machine and giving the venue the finishing touches. Exciting times for them so pop in and give them some support when the doors open?
