Happy Bank Holiday Friday! It's been a lovely sunny day today. And not only has today been a celebration of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, but it was also the Corby Pole Fair.

Did you know the Pole Fair is only celebrated every 20 years in Corby? That's means I have to wait until the grand age of 65 before the next one!

Shall I let you in on a secret?

Well, it was my birthday yesterday! Got so many gorgeous cards and gifts - especially from my 3 kids!

I turned the grand old age of 45 (sshh, don't tell anyone!) I had a fabulous day off with the hubby. Started off with breakfast at Then off to Oakham Garden Centre for some shopping - and cake and tea in the cafe (went for coffee and walnut cake - my fave 😋). Finished the day off with the school run (yes, these things still need to be done, even when it's your birthday!) and answering the front door to family and friends.

That's what I call a perfect day 🥰 Now to start on the birthday chocolate!

Blessed to have so many strong women in my life. Big shout out especially goes to my mum, three sisters and two beautiful daughters who have helped shape me into the person I am today. Thank you for loving me for me 🥰
