As you all know I have been taking a little break from JJ Crafts for the last few months but I am hoping to get back to it. However, things will have to change a bit. This is a hobby for me, it is not my day job. I don't have time to make items, especially custom/personalised job that people don't pay for and collect. I have personalised Easter baskets from last year that people didn't bother paying for. These can not be reused and will be binned. I paid for the blanks (baskets, mugs, cushions, blankets etc). So from now on, I will only order in the blanks when I have received a 20% deposit and I will only start personalising when the order has been paid in full.
I love doing these bits and bobs, and take great pride in what I produce. As I said this is a hobby and I think my prices reflect that. If you compare what I charge and what you can pay on Etsy, I'm sure you will agree.
