A new chapter for Melt. And a rather lovely one for us too. 🤎
We’re Amy & Ted, and following Trevor and Cheryl’s lovely announcement, we thought it was about time we said hello!
First things first, a huge thank you to Trevor and Cheryl for trusting us with something they’ve poured their hearts into (quite literally!) over the last 27 years. We feel incredibly lucky, and more than a little excited, to be taking on this much-loved business.
We’ve known and loved Melt for years. We’re big believers in the little things that make a house feel like home - a beautiful fragrance, the warm glow of a candle and those simple moments that make everyday life feel a bit special 🥰
We’re so proud to be continuing the Melt story, with its beautiful fragrances, tried-and-tested methods and candles lovingly hand-poured in the Ribble Valley by our brilliant team.
And there’s another part of Melt we’re already falling in love with. Life on and around Backridge Farm. ❤️
Meet Cyril, who’s apparently appointed himself head of security (and quality control) at the window 🐿️ Expect to see much more of him! There’s also the birds gathering on the shed roof and some pretty spectacular countryside on our doorstep.
The second photo was taken on our walk home down Twitter Lane on Friday. Not a bad commute, is it?! 🥹
The candles will always be the stars of the show, of course, but we’re just as excited by the little things happening around us.
As we find our feet, we’ll share more about the people, the pouring, the fragrances, the farm and all the everyday goings-on behind the scenes.
Most of all, we want to look after this very special business and do Trevor, Cheryl - and all of you - proud.
So here’s to the next chapter. We’re really glad you’re here.
