We are exploring the French Riviera and the Italian region Liguria. We didn’t pack any wet weather clothes but it has rained every day since the 19th June including epic thunderstorms and a 9 hour downpour in Genoa. We thought everything changed when we arrived in Sanremo to bright sunshine but by the time we’d checked in it and changed into our swimming costumes it was pouring down. Sanremo rainfall average in June is 1.5mm. 10 years of that average fell in an hour….. are we having a good time ? Oh yes. UNESCO world sites, 3 course lunch and wine for two people €25 and those little napkin dispensers on the tables. What’s not to love! PS there has been a little sunshine in between the rain but not a lot.

Weather! 🌦️ Tomorrow is not looking so hot… literally. High wind is forecast which has seen have to make the difficult decision to cancel, but have no fear, we’re still here.
