From a young age I was always obsessed with the Ancient Egyptians, they believed everyone dies twice - first, when we take our final breath and again the moment our name is spoken for the last time. This is something I've thought alot about over the last year since my nanna passed away. As a family we talk about her and our favourite memories often. When I was making memory bears for family from her clothing, I pieced together items she wore together.
Here is my bear, I chose the garments because she was wearing them in my favourite photo and the walking badges I found in her sewing basket, she loved walking. Looking at the bear takes me back to the summer's day the photo was taken on and makes me smile.
