So who saw the eclipse yesterday? I didn’t manage to as unfortunately I’m in the middle of a flare and my bed has been my friend the last few days, so please feel free to share any pics you took.

Good morning beautiful souls 🫶🏻

Tonight sees a new moon, this occurs when the Moon is positioned directly between the Earth and the Sun, making it completely invisible to us on Earth.
But, this one also coincides with the Solar Eclipse & the Perseid Meteor Shower. Talk about the universe having a great time out there at the moment 😂

In the UK we will only see a Partial Solar Eclipse and we might not see it in all areas, but I think it’s all rather cool.
I remember the last Total Solar Eclipse here in the UK in 1999, I was working at the vets and we didn’t have those funky glasses to look through, so we cut up some old x-ray films and used them to have a look 🙈
Anybody else remember it?

So back to our crystals, what could you do with yours during a new moon ?

💜CLEANSE
Rinse in cool water (make sure they are water safe), smudge with sage or incense, use sound to clear any stored energies.

💜SET INTENTIONS
Hold your crystal and set clear
intentions. Write them down & be specific about what you want to create.

💜VISUALISE
Visualise your goals as if they've already happened. Feel the emotions and trust the process.

💜CREATE A SPACE
Make a sacred space with your crystals, a candle and anything else that supports your intention.

💜TAKE INSPIRED ACTION
Trust the timing of the universe, then take aligned action toward your dreams.

💜TO CHARGE OR NOT TO CHARGE?
Now this one can differ with who you speak with, but majority of people would say not to recharge them under the Solar Eclipse as this energy can feel quite erratic.
So unless you’re into a bit of chaos magic and the likes, maybe leave the moon water too.

Remember to set your intentions, plant your dreams & create the future that you want.

A little behind the scenes video for you today of me making a Smudging Feather Wand 🪶🦅

I know a few of you may have seen it before, but I thought it was just too good not to share again as it’s one of those makes that I’m so proud of & I want people to know, there’s so much more to my business than just the crystals.

This has an array of beautiful feathers from various birds, all have been ethically sourced by myself from birds in Essex & Suffolk & working with my guides I came up with this absolute beauty 🪶

I have two different wands available on the website, but I’m always happy to make a specific piece for you as well if you wanted something a little different, feel free to message me to chat.

I hope you all had an amazing weekend. My scans all went well yesterday, thank you for the well wishes, now to wait for the results.

Today we have the munchkin, so I shall be back a bit later when she naps or when she goes home.

In the meantime, I wanted to share with you a collection that we launched last year.

We all know how scary going back to school can be for children of all ages.

My youngest suffered awfully with fears surrounding school following Covid, sadly this was before I really became so actively involved in crystal healing & he’s now left school.

But with this in mind, I wanted to create something that other children may benefit from, to help them with their school journey.

The set includes ;

💜 Moonstone - the stone of new beginnings, helps us to accept change.
💜 Amethyst - reduces anxiety & provides protection.
💜 Rose Quartz - provides that boost of self love, brings kindness & encouragement.
💜 Fluorite - helps to absorb new concepts & ideas.
💜 Sodalite - helps us to focus on our studies, aids communication & ability to express new ideas.
💜 Carnelian - helps with the ability to learn new things.
💜 Guatemalan Worry People - it’s thought that if you tell your worries to them and then pop them under your pillow at night, that by morning your worries will have been taken away.

All will be infused with the healing love of Reiki energy by myself 💜

I know a lot of children nowadays are home schooled & these could easily be used in that setting too, or even for grown up children going off to college or uni. I would just change my intentions when doing the Reiki & of course can adapt the little card if needed too.

I am so grateful to Debra for leaving this review for me recently, every single ok of them means the world to me.

I’m curious, do you leave reviews when you buy from a small business? If not, can I ask why you don’t?

Sunday this week isn’t a quiet unwind day as I’ve got to go and have some CT scans done on my ears and sinuses, I really can’t say I’m looking forward to it 🤦🏼‍♀️ I shall of course be back to reply to comments later, but other than that I shall see you all on Monday x

I also thought it was a great time for me to talk about my branding and why I’ve chosen the things that I have to go into each parcel.

Everyone who knows me, knows that my favourite colour is purple, so it just had to be incorporated into my business didn’t it 😜

The purple theme runs through everything from my tissue paper to business cards, organza bags, care guides, even down to the tape that I use and think it works pretty well, don’t you?
I also wanted it so that when people opened the parcel, they would instantly know it’s from me.

Those that have received orders from me in the past, have always said it’s like opening a special gift to themselves and that is totally the vibe that I wanted.

You’re paying for a product & service and you should be receiving the best. It’s why I also include a small free gift, an inspirational card and also a fun mystical sticker that you can use to decorate what ever you wish.

I even designed my own logo, on Canva with help as I’m not that good lol & swapped a few bits around to make it more me & have to say I love it. It’s not changed in the 4 years, apart from the addition of my name.

Good morning beautiful souls 🫶🏻

Today I’m sharing a little back story of how Crystal Moon Bex came about. I thought this would be nice as we have quite a few new followers. Bear with as it will be long 🙈

So a little about me first, as many know I’m a qualified Veterinary Nurse and have also worked in a school with disabled children, amongst other things over the years such as floristry, local newspaper and so on, but I’m unable to physically work anymore due to my chronic health issues. I decided to go down the route of various MLMs so that I still had some sort of purpose, as I could work it around those tougher days, but they just weren’t the right fit for me.

I’ve always had a passion for crystals, I remember as a young teen visiting various amazing little shops in London and buying crystals, oils, incense and so on & always was drawn to anything Native American too.

A close friend of mine (she’s married to one of my hubbys friends, yes Nicky I mean you 😜) knew how much I loved crystals as she does too & she actually gave me the push to explore things further.

So off I went looking into the whole mining of the various crystals, now that is a minefield on its own as you just don’t realise how many unsafe practices there are out there, how many people can be mistreated and work in absolutely awful conditions for literal pennies.
This became a very important aspect for me and I wanted to find wholesale companies who I could confirm were using ethically sourced crystals. This was done by lots of questioning, photos, videos and so on of their practices & also by trial and error with some wholesalers, a costly mistake.
I literally had one big order arrive & when I tell you the crystals actually felt off and sad when I unpacked them, I’m not joking, the energy they emitted just wasn’t for me.
Lots of cleansing & raising their vibrations before I would let them leave me & I never returned to that business again.

This was all just over 4 years ago & I’ve learnt so much over the time & have found some amazing wholesalers that I’ve built friendships with & we have evolved so much over the years & I am truly so proud of our progress.

This year saw us step up another notch and finally launch the website, which in turn meant a name change due to the domain already being taken, but I’m loving the change & it feels even more personal to me now.

Here’s a few pictures of how me showcasing the crystals has changed over the years, I think it’s safe to say, things are definitely much better now. What do you think?
