After the best part of seven years change is happening at GH Knight. It’s been lovely, but it’s time for me to move along to my next adventure. Many of you already know Emily - she’s been with me part time since we moved to Castle Street and she’s taking over and it’s becoming The Enchanted Inkwell. I’m very excited to see how she puts her personal creative mark on it, and am sure you’ll join me in wishing her success and happiness in her new venture! Thank you all - customers who became friends, and fellow Cirencester retailers- it’s been amazing and I really appreciate all the support you gave me.

Also brand new in store, the new Lamy Safari’s in glossy super dark dusk and matt sunset coral. Emily is just back from the London fair so expect all sorts of gorgeous newness. I’m still recovering from an unexpected stay in hospital but hope to see some of our lovely customers again soon ❤️

It’s World Book day! Great excuse to get another book - if you actually need one - an excuse I mean. Of course you need more books... In with our lovely notebooks and journals we have the Chiltern collection of probably the most beautifully printed and bound classics. I’m quite sure you’re with me in the strong opinion that a kindle just doesn’t exist as an option. Real book look, feel, smell, enjoy … all day.

I’m normally just piping on about how beautiful our books are, but they are actually all eco friendly, made from sustainable and ethically sourced paper and cards. Minimal packaging, from suppliers who are committed to ethical standards and practices. And they’re beautiful!
