Hannah and Ellis have discovered the Japanese art of Furoshiki (traditional Japanese wrapping cloths which are used to wrap gifts or transport goods), using fabric remnants from our stock at the hub.
We are very impressed with our super talented volunteers ❤️
We are always looking for new volunteers for varied roles across our charity “Bavs (Berwickshire) Ltd”.

It’s Volunteer week this week and we couldn’t fill the Hub without their continued hard work! They work hard sorting, pricing, collecting and delivering, working the phone and up at the till. The place is full and we look forward to seeing you. If you want to get involved too, please ask for an application form. We’d love to have you.

It’s across the UK and we couldn’t do what we do, without our glorious, hardworking volunteers. Some work for half a day, some come for longer and each one has a certain skill set which is invaluable to us. Without you, we would be lost. Your hands makes light work of our book room, our bric-a-brac shelves and our furniture. Thank you so much! To celebrate our volunteers, we’ll be shutting the Hub at 1pm this Thursday afternoon so we can say thank you to them properly.

I was on holiday last week hence the no show. But we’re back! And the Hub is full! You’ve been generous with your donations and we’ve been out in the van across Berwickshire. Lots to trawl through and hopefully easy enough to see. Hope you’ll come and find something.
