This is exactly why I love what I do. ❤️

After having such a great time taking part in one of my classes at her school, this lovely young lady’s mum got in touch to arrange a very special birthday surprise… her very own experience, shared with her Mum, Auntie and Nan! 🥹🎂

Three generations coming together to get hands-on, have fun, learn, laugh and make memories — how special is that?! 💕

These classes are about so much more than experiments. They’re about sparking curiosity, building confidence, encouraging young minds to ask questions, explore, create and discover what they’re capable of. 🔬✨

Our young people are the scientists, creators, problem-solvers and innovators of the future — and giving them opportunities to become excited about learning from an early age is something I feel incredibly passionate about.

And the best part? There’s no age limit on curiosity! Seeing different generations learning, laughing and experiencing something new together makes these moments even more special. 🧪👩‍🔬💗

I feel so grateful when families choose me to be part of birthdays and memories like these. What an absolute privilege.

The Formula:
It definitely wasn’t perfect the first time. I spent around 4–6 hours testing and tweaking the measurements to create the perfect bubbly reaction that was both exciting and safe for children.

I love that I can use simple ingredients from the kitchen cupboard to create such an exciting science experiment. Watching the kids’ faces light up never gets old!

At our science parties and classes, children don’t just watch the reactions—they learn why they happen, get hands-on, and have so much fun along the way.

The biggest lesson I’ve learned? Your first attempt doesn’t have to be perfect. Every failed reaction teaches you something that helps you tweak the measurements and create an even better result. That’s what science is all about. 🧪✨

People often see the work, but they don’t always see the recharge behind it.

I genuinely love what I do. Whether I’m teaching a class, helping someone choose the right product, or simply sharing advice, I want to give 100% every single time.

But I’ve learned that to keep showing up as my best self, I have to step away sometimes.

Time with my kids. Time with my family. And yes… time on my own too.

I’m an introverted extrovert. When I’m with people, I give everything I’ve got. That’s why protecting my energy isn’t selfish—it’s necessary.

Rest isn’t taking me away from my purpose. It’s what allows me to keep living it.

Recharge. Reset. Then give your all again. 🤍

One of the best parts of what I do is seeing the confidence and creativity it inspires in others. 💖

I first met this talented makeup artist when I was teaching at . She joined one of my cosmetic science classes and loved it so much that she decided to celebrate her birthday by booking a private workshop in my garden studio laboratory with her friends and family.

It was such a privilege to spend the day creating, learning and celebrating with such an amazing group.

Another amazing birthday party! 🎉💄🧪

It’s always a pleasure to host children’s parties and teach science in a fun, hands-on way.

Watching the children formulate their own makeup products, learn how to accurately weigh and mix ingredients, and create something that makes their lips feel good and look good is incredibly rewarding. The best part is that they’re learning real scientific skills while having fun, playing games, and making memories with friends!

A huge thank you to all the mums who continue to book me for your children’s birthday parties. Your support allows me to inspire young minds and show them just how exciting and creative science can be.

Such an amazing group of lovely ladies, full of laughs, creativity and positive energy. Watching everyone create their own unique shades in such a beautiful, relaxed space was honestly magical.
