What starts as one very boring wooden table somehow turns into a pink cat-themed stationery paradise... 🐱💖

It's one of my favourite part of a convention weekend, watching everything come together and seeing months of drawing, designing, packing and planning transform into a little corner of sticker heaven.

🎪🐱 EM-CON STARTS TOMORROW! 🐱🎪

The countdown is almost over! Today we'll be setting up at EM-Con Nottingham ready for an amazing weekend filled with cats, stickers, stationery, badges, pins, notepads, and plenty of handmade goodies! 💜

I've put together this little preview so you can see some of the items I'll be bringing along, including prices, and hopefully help you plan your shopping route for the weekend. 👀✨

Everything on my stall is designed and mostly all handmade by me, which means I can only make a limited quantity of each item. If you've spotted something you love, I'd recommend stopping by sooner rather than later because once they're gone, they're gone!

As well as all the goodies on my stall, I'll also be taking part in SIX amazing stamp rallies, so there'll be lots of exclusive extras to collect while you're exploring the convention. 🎉

One of the things I'm most excited about this weekend at EM-Con Nottingham is taking part in SIX incredible stamp rallies alongside some amazingly talented small businesses! 💜

Each slide shows one of the stamp rallies, who's taking part, where to find them, and the exclusive goodies you could get your paws on! 🐾✨

A little heads up though... the prizes and goodie bags for these stamp rallies are available in very limited quantities. Once they've been claimed, they're gone, so don't leave it until the end of the day if there's one you really want to take part in!

If you're attending both days, I'd definitely recommend checking out your favourite stamp rallies on Day 1. Looking at all the fantastic goodies on offer, I can't imagine they'll last long! 👀🎁

Today was a big day... my new electric wheelchair had its first test drive into Chesterfield town centre! 🎉

For the last 8 years I've mostly used a mobility scooter, but if I'm honest, I've never really got on with it. The lack of leg room always left me uncomfortable and in pain. I also have a manual wheelchair, but I've always struggled with feeling guilty that someone has to push me around.

This new chair still needs a helping hand getting in and out of the car, but once it's out, it's mine to control. Crossing the cobbles was so much easier, and for the first time in a long time I felt a little bit of freedom and independence return. 💜

I stuck to shops I knew would be accessible today, but maybe next time I'll be brave enough to tackle some of the tighter ones too!

After 8 years, I still find it difficult sometimes relying on mobility aids and other people. But today reminded me that mobility aids don't take away our independence, they help give it back. We all deserve to be a little kinder to ourselves and spend less time worrying about what strangers might think. And honestly? If you're curious, I'd much rather you ask me a question than stand there staring. 😹

Now for the really important question...

How long do you think it'll be before I start covering this chair in cat stickers?

Because one minute Bruce is being adorable, the next he's causing chaos, making questionable life choices, and somehow looking handsome through it all. 😻💜

My camera roll is basically 95% cat content at this point... and honestly, I regret nothing. 😂

Fellow cat parents, tell me I'm not the only one with thousands of photos and videos of their cat doing absolutely nothing and somehow EVERYTHING at the same time. 🐾
