Well were to begin we have just returned from a testers social at yatley pads lake, firstly I would like to say how amazing this place is the guys on there are more than willing to point you in the right direction and just so pleasant how carping should be, we arrived on the Friday following a group which had been on for 5 days with only 2 fish out all week, we waited in the car park after having a walk around until we could get on and go to our chosen swims of choice, Friday day went with a few missed fish and as night drew in it just felt right, at 11:30pm the firstly yatley lump graced rich's net and topped the scales at 34lb and a new pb what a beautiful mirror, shortly after just as we had settled back in our bags I heard a set of alarms and that was another chunk safely in the net as I walked to the next peg I could see this big back in the net straight away I new it was a 30 and so it was a stunning 30lb Mirror, Friday night went with no more action, come Saturday I decided to change things a bit and found a nice clear spot about 50yards out at around dinner time I decided to tie a stiff hinge which was presenting a 12mm mf popup topped with 5 maggots all afternoon I had seen fish topping over the bait yet nothing but I decided to stick it out, at around 6pm we had a good old social Chinese on my peg just as I was considering to wind my rods in after everybody had food my right hand rod had torn off and I was in direct contact with a lump after a 15min battle a true old yatley lump was in the net and from then on I new it was a new pb and so it was 38lb of stunning pads lake mirror what a feeling and what a way to beat my current pb I would like to thank all those a involved in making the weekend what it was until next time lads tight lines

We are currently looking for more testers to join our strong team we have 15 positions available please message us on this page a little about yourself the types of waters you fish etc. Becoming a tester you must be able to commit to 5kg a month.
