very much looking forward to being part of this exhibition 'making voices heard' organized and curated by Dr Alexandru G. Modoi It's on for two weeks over 4 locations. The main show is in the Castlefield Gallery space in the old top shop building as well as the Grosvenor Museum and Stretton Watermill and St Johns Church and St Werburghs. Please come and see it and support if you can. A mix of local and International work on show.

it's September and a foraging we will go.... a simple snowberry wreath. I discovered they make very good wreaths with long bendy stems ready for twisting.

In preparation for a workshop next week at Castle park Arts Centre, Frodsham. The perfect place for a Mindful Walk with Seasonal Photography.

When I say walk it will be more of a creative wonder around the building looking for seasonal finds. After a while we will go back to the centre and and make still life and flatlay images with seasonal flowers, leaves, textures, what ever people find. I'm planning to take my collection of vintage bottles and a few other favourites items to help.


One of the most meditative and healing things about working with the seasons is noticing the changes. There is always something disappearing and something new arriving.


This tiny poppy popped up around the corner from my house and seems to have found a new burst of life.

Capturing a few moments from my new life in a new part of the city.
I couldn't leave the old rusty garden table behind and it fits right in in the new courtyard garden with plums and geraniums. Enjoying the new local shops ❤️
The local cat we have named Maurice who tried to move in on day one legging it past my feet upstairs.
A tiny sunflower on top of a barge called Sunflower on the canal parked up near by. I love all the colourful boats and individual styles. 🌻

A few photos of flowers by the canal, reflections and boats.
I've moved and enjoying exploring the new environment near the canal with lots of green spaces and nature in one direction and remnants of old industry (now apartments) in the other Even though I'm in the same city such different vibes here. A mix of nature, canal life, shoppers, walkers, cyclists and a few pubs.
