It’s been a journey! As a family, we’ve put 4 and a half years of smiles, laughs, tears and a whole lot of love into Just Footprints, which is why this is the hardest thing to write.
We’re closing down, after giving it everything we have, it just hasn’t been enough in the current economical climate. So many factors have contributed to this, covid, cost of living crisis and rising energy bills are just some of them but it’s no longer viable for us to stay open.
We are gutted but we know that this is our only choice, so we will be saying goodbye and closing our doors for the last time in the coming weeks. We'll let you know the exact date as soon as we can.
Although this is a sad post, we want to focus on the good. Chester, thank you for supporting us on our journey as a business for the past 4.5 years. Being able to be part of such a strong and lovely community will always be something we will hold onto. We’re sorry we can’t stay for longer but we really are grateful to the people of Chester and our wonderful customers for staying by our side through it all! We will miss every one of you!

Our biggest goal when we opened Just Footprints was to make a difference to our planet and give something back to the people of Chester. We wanted to create not only a place for people to shop, but somewhere where people could come together; a community space. From workshops to stalls, we achieved this in many ways and that for us, is something we will take from this experience. Being able to offer people eco friendly alternatives, teaching people that there is a more eco conscious way to live and that every little change makes a difference are our greatest achievements.
Please continue to support your local independent shops as they need you now more than ever!
