With Cut in Number, Ingegerd Råman is in line with Orrefors' deep knowledge of cut glass. Here she deviates from the tradition of polished sharpening inserts. Instead, she allows the inserts to remain matte, so that the surface of the clear glass is highlighted. Cut in Number consists of three cylindrical shapes; a bowl and two vases, all of which come with different patterns. When the light hits the clear crystal glass and the precisely placed lines, it turns out that mathematics can also be poetry. The series was launched in 2021.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
