Ooh, nice that it's a bit cooler isn't it? Also helpful for our confectioner, Karen, of Abbey Chocolate who is staffing the shop today. Karen's selection of yummy artisan chocolate and fudge is fantastic and we always have some free samples available. So do pop in and see what she has freshly made today.

Morning all. Helen of Abbey Jewellery is stewarding our shop in Tintern today. Helen creates wonderful designs from previous stones and metals, such as these amethyst pieces.

Our shop is open 10.30 to 5pm if you are in the Wye Valley and fancy popping in. Helen will be able to answer any questions you have about her making processes and inspirations.

Our beadworker Gwenan is on duty in the shop on this sweltering Friday. Gwenan creates colourful beaded jewellery. Here is a selection of her art deco style pieces.

It's always cool in our shop which is part of an old mill building. So do pop in to get out of the heat for a bit and check out all the other lovely handcrafted goodies we stock.

Good morning everyone. Adam from GRANDMA BEES Natural Skincare is staffing our shop today when we open at 10.30am. Their balms and dry oils are all made from 100% natural ingredients and have lots of uses as you can see here.

We have free samples for you to try at the shop, and Adam can answer any questions you may have about use for specific conditions.

Our shop in Tintern is open every Wednesday to Sunday, 10.30an to 5pm. The A466 is also now fully open in both directions, to Monmouth and Chepstow. So do pop in and check out all our the lovely handcrafted treasures!

We are pleased to announce that last month's guests, Marnie and Adam from Natural Impressions Engraving have joined us now as a full member. So you will be able to purchase from their collection of wood and slate engraved coasters and keyrings every time you visit our shop.

It's Marnie and Adam's first shift looking after the shop today, so do pop in and welcome them if you're about.

We are SO pleased to welcome our former member and Chair Barbara of Wild Garden Printing back as a guest maker for August. Barbara photographs the wildlife she sees around her in her garden and uses the photos to create a range of wildlife themed homewares and gifts.

Bob and his wife Lynne are looking after the shop today. Bob's handcrafted wooden chopping boards, platters and furniture literally fly out of here. Best get down here quick to see what goodies Bob is bringing in today!

Some recent handcrafted wooden mirrors made by Jackie who is staffing our shop in Tintern today. Amazing to think that Jackie only started making these mirrors a year or so ago. We love how the organic shapes complement the grain of the wood.

We are open 10.30am to 5pm at Tintern Abbey Mill, next to the waterwheel.

Did someone say heatwave? Another one??? Here are some beach and seaside inspired pieces from our fused glass artist Eva Glass Design to help you cool off.

I think we'd all love to be at the beach today. But the reality of a billion other people there too, massive queues and traffic jams and no shade probably isn't as good as the dream. A much better idea is a visit to our nice cool shop and a yummy lunch in the shade of the cafe's marquee on the bank of the River Wye. We are open every Wednesday to Sunday next to the waterwheel in Tintern.
