My name is Mila Lightfoot and I founded The Edible Flower Garden in the Cotswolds in 2015. I am a Master Herbalist and ethical entrepreneur who is passionate about the healing power of plants. We aim to make products that really work, by harnessing the impressive powers of nature. It’s a fact that many so called natural skin care products contain synthetic ingredients which can irritate sensitive skin. At The Edible Flower Garden, we will never use aggressive ingredients or synthetic chemicals such as sodium lauryl sulphate (SLS), parabens, phthalates, petrochemicals, alcohol (ethanol) or synthetic fragrances or colourants, and none of our products are tested on animals. Our products consist only of our home-grown plants combined with pure, unrefined butters and oils and 100% natural essential oils. And because our products are oil based and contain no water, there is no need to add preservatives to our products. All that is needed is a small amount of Vitamin E oil, which acts as an anti-oxidant.
