if you have wondered what the whole process of Personal Shopping with me is like, then my client Clare explains it perfectly. Here is the full review

"I enjoyed the half day I spent with Emma Smith with the goal of finding an evening coat as well as core pieces for a professional wardrobe. We tried on several styles of coat and I am so happy with the coat I bought that day. I feel elevated and confident when I wear it. During our time together Emma gently helped me challenge my preconceived ideas of what suits me. She responded to my feedback and brought new ideas in response to how garments made me feel. I bought two dresses that we tried on together and feel more confident at work when I wear them.

I was a little apprehensive at first as I am getting used to the changes in my appearance that come with aging, and wasn't sure what suits me anymore. I needn't have worried because Emma is warm, enthusiastic and non-judgemental. The time flew by and it was lovely having someone scour the shop floor for new options while I was in the changing room.

That day I ended up buying 3 items that I love, but more importantly I feel the experience means I now have a vision of how I want to expand my professional wardrobe in the coming years. It was a transformative experience for me which helped me regain my mojo after feeling frumpy for the past few years"

Personal Shopping again at the weekend
The brief was👖& outfits for a conference from day to night.

My client had a favourite pair of jeans (which were skinnies) & she was really keen to try new styles (apart from barrel legs!)
If you have never worn anything but skinnies, then trying something new really is stepping out of your comfort zone, but I am happy to report she looked fabulous in multiple styles of different jeans, boyfriends, baggy, flared & bootcut.

Whilst I was shopping at Bluewater, I did notice the trends for spring, there are stripes, pinstripes & wide stripes, polka dots there are boxy jackets in faux suede & denim, jumpsuits, denim dresses, there are old school trainers in ice cream colours.
The colours I most saw were burgundy, red, pink, lilac, yellow, emerald, lime & royal blue.

So here is a few of the outfits I have put together from that trip.

Back in December, I had the privilege of taking a client from Ireland wedding dress shopping at Bluewater.

The brief was no traditional wedding dresses (even though on the day, one was tried on!) She liked the colours burgundy & green & she sent me a couple of photos of the classic A-line 1950's style fit & flare dress (this was not the dress style that she decided upon in the end) I helped my client with everything from earrings, to shoes & jackets & even advised the groom on colours of tie & pocket square.

She is getting married this month❤️so hopefully I will be able to share the wedding dress soon.

These are the dresses she tried on her personal shopping session, the first two are Hobbs the rest are Phase 8.
She looked fabulous in all of them, but some were more wedding guest than bride & a bridal dress needs to have the WOW factor.
