Back at Middleport Pottery this weekend for their summer market. I've got lots of new items including the fabulous new Jetstream ballpoint pen - it's slim like the more common slimline pen BUT it takes Parker style refill for easier writing and longevity!

The first of three weekends at Middleport Pottery start tomorrow. Thanks to the efforts of my wife, Connie, and my grandson, Jack, I am able to be there, albeit, hobbling and propped-up with a walking stick!. Lots of new items for yourselves or as Christmas presents. I hope to see you there.
Next week I'll be in hospital having a nice new hip fitted, and so I'll have to leave it to my able assistants.
I am hoping that by the third weekend I'll be able to be back.

Due to illness I have not been able to spend time at the lathe recently. However, I took the opportunity to finish some projects that I have been working on. This one is a lovely Sycamore concave sided bowl which has had the rim treated to a beautiful purple crackle glaze. With Middleport Christmas markets coming up on the last weekend of this month and the first two weekends of December, I have enlisted the help of my wife and my grandson to man the stall so all of my products will be on show there. Hope you can make it to the markets.
